It has been proved again in GHMC elections that PRP is an utter failure and this time, the bad situation gone even worse. PRP won only one seat and unlike the general elections, it could not even manage to split the anti-government votes. Observers say that the resurrection of PRP is highly impossible and it's the time for its leader to act smart. Chiranjeevi, though unintentionally, being the one who had helped the congress to come to power, and had been loyal to Congress and never so aggressively criticized Congress, always blasting TDP though TDP has been in opposition, must make his moves towards merging his party into the Congress, which can help both Chiranjeevi as well as Congress as both showed a decline in the recent GHMC elections and the probability for more decline is expected, say observers. It can be a win-win situation, but again, the fight for dominance which had already been started in Congress after YSR's death may become worse, and Chiranjeevi's worst fear would be about how much importance he will get in the Congress party and if Jagan & Co tries to rule him, then whether he will be able to fight back or not?
