We all know that the first statement of Union Home Minister Chidambaram created quite a bit fire in Andhra and Rayalaseema regions, and the Centre had to take corrective actions and released a second and a third statement later on. After the first statement, many suspected that Chidambaram had a hidden motive of moving Tamilnadu towards becoming the leader in South Indian states by splitting Andhra Pradesh into smaller pieces. But he got benefit of the doubt, because he released the statement as a representative of Government of India, and it was not his personal decision. But it was just recently that he expressed his personal opinion on this by replying to one of the questions from a journalist on what he would do if the same kind of movement for a separate state starts in Tamilnadu, he said that in Tamilnadu, they will never allow such thing and they will destroy any such movement before it gets intensified. This clearly tells that this Tamilian really has a hidden motive, and we could see a potential danger if this person going to be one of the decision makers on the Telangana issue.
