In spite of taking immediate steps to control the chaotic situation in the state, the ministry of home affairs decided to prolong the separate state issue. Apparently, the meeting of Mr. Chidambaram with all the recognized political parties of the state ended with no result, both separatists and samaikyists vexed about the steps being taken by the central government. In fact, the head of MIM party, gave a better solution to Chidambaram by demanding to impose president's rule in the state. In the present scenario, that is the one and only solution to control all the agitations. Hope, centre will take its decision soon.
