Thanks to the Telangana and United Andhra Movements, as the Andhra Pradesh Government could increase APSRTC ticket fares without getting much of objection from opposition parties or the public. The Government had played their regular tactic of increasing the fares more than what they have actually planned and then bringing them down a bit so that the public think that the Government did a great favor to them.
Rumor is that, everyone is being benefited with whatever happened recently in the State as KCR got a special package to keep himself silent on Telangana issue; Lagadapati got a Hero image in Andhra regions; Chiranjeevi got some hike in his political image in Andhra regions and people expecting him to be the second biggest leader in Andhra in case Telangana gets separated; Chandrababu Naidu gets some benefit by keeping himself silent on this issue so that he can jump on any side based on the final results; Y.S. Jagan got his share of profit as he could prove the fact that Rosayya was a bad choice for the CM chair; some so called Student Leaders got their share of money, and finally the Government got benefit as it could increase RTC fares and also it is going to increase electricity charges soon, and it could successfully blame it on public for the hikes. But the one who is upset with all this is the common man, who struggles, everyday, to get a decent living.
