It is the clear fact that the recent happenings in Karnataka regarding Gali Janardhan Reddy having issues with Karnataka CM Yeddyurappa and the Telugu Desam's fight against Obulapuram Mining are the hot topics in AP right now. But why Chiru is silent on these burning issues?
Any person with minimum thinking capacity can say that these mining frauds are being done to make few politicians billionaires and to take away the benefits that the people of Andhra Pradesh are supposed to get, but, are not getting because they voted for these corrupted politicians. Either it is Gali or Y.S. Jagan or anyone else; they are getting huge and unimaginable profits with this illegal mining of Iron Ore. This is our Nation's natural resource, any profits from it are supposed to reach the public. But that is not happening. And when it is not happening, opposition parties naturally fight against the government. But being the third biggest party in AP, and sitting in the opposition chair, why Praja Rajyam Party is not responding on this? The answer is simple. They don't want to go against Congress. They want to play a friendly role with the Government and get themselves in a better position. Either it is Lok Satta Party or PRP, they are feeling that talking anything against Obulapuram Mining is like supporting TDP. In TV5 news scan, Kotagiri Vidyadhar Rao said that PRP goes in their own separate way in dealing with the mining issue. Why a separate way and what is that? There will not be any answers.
When Chiranjeevi came into politics, people expected him to do just "Praja Seva" and they wanted him to be different from regular politicians. Fans wanted to see him as the CM of AP, but that is natural, because they are his fans. But Chiru turned out to be one more regular, everyday-seen politician. He never met anybody's expectation in politics. In the present situation, PRP is like a sinking Titanic, and Chiru now needs the helping hands of Congress for his party's survival. He is expecting for a miracle to happen and somehow get the CM post, may be after the next elections in 2014. But miracles rarely happen and a Miracle is a miracle because it happens unexpectedly. So, instead of concentrating on the top chair, Chiru should concentrate on the public issues. If he fights for the people rights, fights against the government, fights for the issues like Obulapuram Mining, it is not clear whether he gets CM post or not, but definitely he wins the hearts of the people again. Chiranjeevi will be Chiranjeevi again.
I was a big fan of Chiru until he entered politics..Donno y he did that..but it is a flop show. PRP cannot be called as the 3rd largest party, the number of seats it got is far behind Congress or TDP. And most of the MLAs are the ones who jumped from several other parties.
The party is a sinking Titanic.....correction...sinking boat. PRP is not a titanic,its a small boat.
