NTV is the second best news channel of the state after TV9 as per the TRP ratings. This is a great achievement by the news channel. But as per the analysts, it is considered as number one biased channel in the state because it is completely biased towards one particular political party and in particular, it is mainly biased towards one particular group, and that is none other than Y.S. Jagan group.
After NTV, many channels have witnessed their presence to show biased news on any one particular party. However, they could not manage to generate enough interest among the viewers as much as NTV did. Meanwhile, the following are considered as some of the land mark programs of NTV that were prepared in the service of YSR and his men. Take a look at the following.
1. NTV conducted 'Gelupevaridi' program just one day before general elections, and in that exclusive survey report, they mentioned Congress would win the elections and the same thing happened later. Apart from that they conducted special programs with some of the rebels of other political parties for hours. e.g. Parakala Prabhakar.
2. In elections season, the channel is always ready with 'Gelupevaridi' program and recently they made a survey on who has the right to occupy CM chair. Naturally, they gave maximum percentage to Jagan.
3. Every day they show a satirical program named 'Mamamiya' and through this program they slam all the politicians of the state except Jagan. Also, they conduct 'Modern Mama', another satirical program on politicians on every Sunday, which is also a popular program.
Right now, the management is busy doing campaigning at a very higher level for Jagan. Let us wait and see how much they will be succeeded in this ethical activity.
