However, he goes to abroad to give his performances. There he finds his lady Pooja(Trisha). At the very first sight he falls in love with her. Brahmanandam is the coordinator of all the artists, who knows about Venky's love with Pooja. Then he encourages Pooja to be pretended in love with Venky. Later, the story shifts to Chengala Rayudu's(Mukhesh Rishi) house, who is a powerful factionist and wants to do Pooja's marriage with his son. Venky also enters in their house as a millionaire, who wants to establish an industry in that land. After couple of scenes it is revealed that Pooja is not really in love with Venky, but with an NRI from Europe. What happens next? Watch it on silver screen.

Artists Performance :

Venkatesh:
Venkatesh has already set his own school of acting. Now, he is a master in that school. Besides very cool and decent performance, he also did a fantastic job in comedy scenes. Especially, his acting when he consumed whisky was marvelous. This movie is another feather in his cap.

Trisha: Trisha is a golden leg for Sankranthi releases. Varsham, Nuvvosthanante Nenoddantana, Krishna proved this fact and this movie confirms it. She keeps her glamour up in this movie too.

Brahmanandam: Hilarious comedy is seen in the combination of Venky and Brahmanandam in this movie. His character runs throughout the movie.

Others: Mukhesh Rishi as usually did factionist role as he done in the very recent movie Aarya 2. He did his best. Jayaprakash Reddy acted as his uncle. He too did his job well. Others need not be mentioned.

Analysis of Songs:

Song #1(Soundarya..): Shot in Island. A new location to Telugu cinema. Venky and Trisha paired up. Trisha is pretty awesome in Sarees. Her "belly exposing" dominates the beautiful background scenery.
Song #2(Tattadai..): Shot in Island. Venky and Trisha paired up. An average song.
Song #3(Nee Kallalo..): Another duet in the combination of Venky and Trisha. A good song.
Song #4(Nonstop..): A duet between Venky and Trisha. Average song.
Song #5(Ding Dong..): A fast beat song shot in indoors with all the family members. A foot tapping song.
Song #6(Title Song): Another foot tapping song in the combination of Venky and Trisha.

Technical Department:
Story, Screenplay and Direction:
This story is a new wine in an old bottle. Many of Venky's movies came with this kind of subject like Preminchukundam Raa, Kalisumdam Raa.., Nuvvu Naku Nachchav etc. But still, due to excellent directorial skills, exact timing between the shots the movie appeals to all the sections. Screenplay in both the halves is simply superb. No doubt, Srinu Vytla now became one of the top directors in Tollywood.

Music: Music by Devi is good. "Soundarya.." song is melodious whereas title song is a good fast beat.

Cinematography: Camera work by MR Varma is very good. He could grab excellent scenery in Island.

Highlights:

  1. Venkatesh's and Brahmanandam's performances in alcohol consumption scene.
  2. Telephone talk between Venky and Japrakash Reddy
  3. Car chasing scene, which comes in the second half.

Bottom Line: This pongal's number one hit is NAMO VENKATESA

Daniel's Judgement: 3.75/5
