It was 9th July, 2003. The youngest hero of Tollywood Jr.NTR's 'Simhadri' was released on that auspicious day. From day one onwards, a tsunami of collections was seen in entire Andhra. The movie ran 100 days in 145 direct centers (It's an all time record then) and 175 days directly in 52 centers.
Strangely, even after the completion of 8 long years, the silver jubilee record of 'Simhadri' was not broken by any Tollywood film and chances are that the record may never be crossed if the current trend of releasing movies in huge number of theaters continues. NTR seems to be very lucky for getting the right record at the right time.
