Bhanumathi was an Actress, Singer, Dancer, Writer, Producer, Director and Studio Owner, and she was very successful in all these departments. Bhanumathi was
senior than N.T.Rama Rao and Akkineni Nageswara Rao. All her films are masterpieces, to name a few, Chakrapani, Varudu Kavali, Malliswari, Bhatasari,
Vipranarayana, Anuragam, Vivaha Bandham, Gruha Lakshmi and the list goes on. Her husband Ramakrishna was a Producer and a Director. Bharani studio was named

forgotten. She sang some thousands of songs. Oo bhatasari, lokamerugani bala, edatanunnado baava, endukoyi thotamali are some of them. According to the music

it.

Sharath's novel, in which the acting of Bhanumathi and Nageswara Rao can never be forgotten. No one can do justice to these roles as they did.
Initially, Bhanumathi was chosen as the heroine for Missamma movie but after shooting 2 to 3 reels of the film, Chakrapani and Bhanumathi had some clashes
and Bhanumathi was replaced by Savithri, and this was a great turn and a lucky opportunity for Savithri.
Once a famous producer wanted to make a movie and he approached Chakrapani and asked him, how it would be if he takes Bhanumathi for that character which is
a role of a girl who is mostly sad and crying throughout the film. Then Chakrapani said jokingly that Bhanumathi suits best for roles that make other
characters cry but not for the roles where other characters make her cry. "Edche patrallo Bhanumathi vaddayya. Itara patralanu edipinche patralo pettavayya".
She is a good dancer who knows bharatanatyam and in Vipranarayana we can see her dancing abilities. Her famous and memorable roles are Damayanti in
Naladamayanti, chitrangi in Sarangadhara, Devadevi in vipranarayana, malleswari in malleswari, as a widow in bhatasari, and in her later stages, as aunt,
mother, sister-in-law, sister roles are memorable.
People from old generation cannot forget Bhanumathi. when they see old movies, they still feel bhanumathi around though she is no more with us now. She is
more than just eligible for Dada Saheb Falke Award, but nevermind, awards are never the correct measure for talent in India.
Last few words... Many are fans of Bhanumathi's attitude. She was strong, powerful and never was scared of anyone. Many people thought that she had lot of
ego, but they were completely mistaken. That was not her ego, but that was her powerful Self Confidence and Self Respect.
