We have seen producers announcing fake shares and fake centers for big heroes' movies. Now the same tradition is being followed for Raviteja's 'Mirapakai' as well. Producer Ramesh Puppala recently released the first week shares of 'Mirapakai' and it is clearly observed that the figures are completely manipulated.
The movie collected a total share of 10.68 Crores in AP in its first week. Even though it is a good share for Raviteja, the producer changed the figure and showed it as 14 Crores. When the genuine total share including overseas and other states is 12.50 Crores, the producer projected it as 17.02 Crores.
Analysts say that the producers are following this naive approach to boost their films and to attract the audiences. But they are also saying that it is the time for them to stop following this kind of cheap publicity stunts as the audiences who follow movies shares are intelligent enough to distinguish which are real figures and which are fake, and those who do not know much about movie shares they do not really care about collections but they simply go with the movie's talk.
