Mani Ratnam and Shankar are the two gems of Indian film industry. If Mani Ratnam proved himself as a great technical director, Shankar mainly attracted the masses. Two years ago, both of these directors wanted to direct Prince Mahesh Babu and they approached Mahesh with two different projects. Shankar wanted to make 3 Idiots remake with Mahesh Babu. But Mahesh Babu was out of the project due to various reasons.
Mani Ratnam also wanted to make a historical multi-starrer movie with Mahesh. But the project was shelved due to its super high budget. Now, it is learnt that both Mani Ratnam and Shankar are again showing interest to work with Mahesh. Let us see, whether Mahesh is going to work with them or not.
