Senior Director KSR Das expired due to heart ailments. He breathed his last on Thursday in a hospital at Chennai and was 76 years old. Das is a contemporary to directors like K.Vishwanath, K.Raghavendra Rao and Dasari Narayana Rao.
KSR Das was well known for his action movies of various genres like stunts, cowboy type movies, suspense thrillers and investigation stories. He directed all prominent south Indian heroes, of yester years, including NTR, Krishna, Shoban Babu, RajiniKanth, Chiranjeevi, etc. Mosagallaku Mosagadu was a mile stone in both Super Star Krishna and Das's career. He directed more than 100 films in all south Indian languages.
KSR Das's demise is a huge loss to Tollywood, which can never be recovered. May his soul rest in peace!
