It is the story of a middle class youngster Karthi, who leads a very jovial and cool life. He bumps in to a cute girl Kajal and convinces her with his love. Just when everything seems to be fine in his life, his father gets killed. Karthi, finds out that a bunch of spoiled youngsters have murdered his father as he was a witness for one of their crimes. The youngsters become highly dangerous than cold blooded goons and how an innocent guy Karthi finishes all of them forms the rest of the story.

Screenplay:

Screenplay of the film is quite interesting. The evils of the youngsters are shown parallely along with the life of Karthi. All the scenes in the first half involving Karthi are engaging. Kajal played a regular role of initially getting confused over hero's tactics and then falling for him. The love track of the lead roles is interesting with fresh scenes over routine ideas. Though the writer has tried to put the conflict of criminals getting into the life a cool guy, it didn't gel well because of the mood set in the first half. The entire first half looks like a cool romantic entertainer and suddenly with the protagonist's father's death it becomes a revenge saga. Heroine's role is completely sidelined in the second half and it is the biggest flaw in the script. On the whole when viewed separately the romantic scenes and the raw scenes of the youngsters were well etched.

Music:

Music by Yuvan Shankar Raja is good in parts. Couple of songs are foot tapping. Choreography in first song has brought additional flavour to the first song. On the flip side most of the songs are not instant winners and definitely do not stand close to Yuvan's earlier marvels.

Final Words:

First half is a breezy entertainer with good performances of Karthi and Kajal. The second half involves investigation and revenge saga. Climax is a surprise element. It's little beyond one's imagination and is fresh in presentation. The most interesting and novel idea in the film is to use youngsters as deadly dangerous criminals for the main conflict who can win over experienced and raw goons.

Its a good movie to watch in leisure.
